Privacy Policy
Zunto (“we”, “us”) builds an agentic event-management app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have — including how to delete your account. By using Zunto you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account details — your name, email address, and profile photo/avatar when you sign up. We support Sign in with Google and Sign in with Apple; we receive a unique identifier from your chosen provider and the name/email you approve sharing. You may use Apple’s option to hide your email.
- Event content — events, ceremonies, tasks, guest lists, invitations, RSVPs, budgets, and contributions you create.
- Group chat messages — messages in an event’s group chat are end-to-end encrypted. The encryption key is held on participants’ devices and shared via the invite link; we store only the encrypted content and cannot read it.
- Helper & RSVP data — names and responses people provide through shared helper, RSVP, volunteer, and co-organizer links.
- AI provider settings — if you connect your own AI provider, we store the configuration and API key you supply so the assistant can work. You can remove this at any time in AI settings.
- Notification tokens — if you enable notifications, a device push token so we can (in future) deliver alerts. You can revoke this in your OS settings.
- Device & usage data — basic, non-identifying diagnostics to keep the app reliable.
How we use your information
- To provide core features — creating events, tracking tasks, and coordinating guests.
- To power the Agentic Co-Host’s insights and nudges that you explicitly request.
- To secure your account and improve performance and reliability.
AI features and third-party AI
When you use the AI assistant (“Co-Host”), the content you send to it — such as your prompts and relevant event details — is transmitted to a third-party AI provider (for example, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or SAP AI Core, depending on configuration) to generate a response. We do not use your event content to train models, and providers process it only to return your result. If you do not use AI features, no content is sent to these providers.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not send messages to your guests unless you ask us to.
- We do not use your event content for advertising.
- We do not read your end-to-end encrypted chat messages.
Data sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run Zunto — for example, hosting, authentication (Google, Apple), and the AI provider you choose — under agreements that require them to protect your information and use it only to provide their service to us. We may disclose data if required by law.
Data retention & deletion
You can delete your account at any time from within the app: go to Settings → Delete account. Deleting your account is permanent and removes:
- your profile and account record;
- every event you own and all of its data — tasks, invitations, schedule, budget, and chat;
- your contacts, groups, AI settings, notifications, and device tokens.
In group chats of events owned by other people, your messages are retained for the other participants but your identity is removed (your name is replaced with “Deleted user”). If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke Zunto’s Apple Sign-In access as part of deletion.
Deletion takes effect immediately in the app; residual copies in backups are removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. You can also request deletion by email at privacy@zuntoapp.com.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You can delete your account in-app as described above, or contact us to exercise any of these rights.
Children
Zunto is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new date at the top of this page.
